Stephane Argoud

Stephane Argoud has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Stephane began their career as a Manager Assistant at nature & progres in 1986, where they worked for 20 months and contributed to the development of organic farming certifications for manufacturers.

In 1990, Stephane joined the Agricultural cooperative Vivacoop as a Business Developer and stayed there for two years.

Stephane then moved on to Gelazur in 1992, starting as a Business Developer and later transitioning into a Business Developer and Administration role until 2001. During this time, Stephane's responsibilities included identification and qualification of new markets, business development, pricing analysis, sourcing, validation of requirements specifications, and logistics.

From 2001 to 2010, Stephane served as the Deputy Managing Director at Gelazur, with a focus on sales, business development, and exports to Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and other countries. Stephane also handled the purchasing department and oversaw sourcing, currency cover, and origin tracking.

After that, they became a Business Sales Executive in charge of Retail and Food Industries from 2010 to 2012, with a key account manager role for supermarkets and hypermarkets.

Between 2012 and 2017, Stephane held the position of Business Development Director at Gelazur, where they were responsible for sales development in industries, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and trading. Stephane also recruited and coached a key account manager and introduced a new position of business assistant.

Finally, starting in 2017, Stephane currently holds the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Gelazur.

Stephane Argoud completed their Master's degree in Gestion & Management from EDHEC Business School, from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a BTS degree in Techniques Agricoles & Gestion d'Entreprise with a specialization in Agriculture Gestion d'Entreprise - Option Gestion Forestiere from Lycee Agricole de Neuvic, from 1984 to 1986.
