Elza den Hertog

Elza den Hertog is a Dutch healthcare executive who is currently the Director of Gelre ziekenhuizen, a hospital group in the Netherlands. Prior to their current position, they served as the Zorgmanager of both the Westfriesgasthuis en Waterlandziekenhuis and the Waterlandziekenhuis. Elza has also held positions as the Clustermanager Beschouwend of MC Groep and the Teamhoofd Cardiologie of Medisch Spectrum Twente. In addition to their work in healthcare, they have also served as the Voorzitter Raad van Toezicht of Zorggroep Manna and as a Praktijk instructeur HBO-V at Saxion.

Elza den Hertog has a Masters in Gezondheidswetenschappen - Zorgmanagement from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a second Masters in Professionele communicatie from Phoenix Opleidingen. Elza also has a degree from the Erasmus Centrum voor Zorgbestuur in their Masterclass voor zorgbestuurders program.
