Samuel Rhyan

Samuel Rhyan is currently the Head of People at Gem, where Samuel has been since December 2021. Prior to this role, Samuel held the position of Director of HRBPs, Total Rewards, and People Operations at the same company. Before joining Gem, Samuel was part of an acquisition by Twilio in April 2021, and previously worked at Segment and Google. Samuel also has a background in education, having worked at KIPP Public Schools Northern California and Teach for America. Samuel holds a BS in Medical Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as certificates in Global Health & Leadership. Additionally, Samuel completed a Climate Change: Learning for Action Fellowship at Terra.do.
