Yanchen

Yanchen Ma's work experience includes being a Software Engineer at Gem since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Whist as a Software Engineer, where they built backend systems and infrastructure for a cloud streaming startup. They also have experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at University Health Network, where they designed and built a web conferencing platform and researched machine learning methods for remote heart rate detection. Yanchen Ma has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Amazon and Capital One, and as a Business Analyst Intern at Capital One.

Yanchen Ma pursued their undergraduate education from 2016 to 2022 at the University of Toronto. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Engineering Science with a major in Machine Intelligence.
