Vipul Rawal is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology, business development, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a New Initiatives leader at smallcase since April 2021, Vipul has contributed to a platform enhancing thematic investing accessibility for retail investors in India. As a Venture Partner at Gemba Capital since July 2020, Vipul focuses on investing in tech startups addressing significant customer pain points and achieving high user adoption and profitability. Previous roles include Vice President of Business Development at Perfios Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Co-Founder of FinTechLabs and Fin360, and CEO of BakeryBite. Vipul holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from LNM Institute of Information Technology.

We typically invest US$200-250K per company. We are open to investing through convertible structures and instruments, however we prefer straight equity.
