Carl Atupem

Carl Atupem is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. As CEO of Bytebot since January 2024, Carl is leading efforts to develop AI-powered virtual workers through automated desktop agents. Previously, Carl served as a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, backing top startups founded by Y Combinator alumni, and co-founded Tantl, which became a part of the Y Combinator S21 batch. Carl's engineering expertise was honed at Google as a Software Engineer, focusing on computer vision and machine learning, as well as at Apple, where contributions were made to the Maps app and ride-hailing integrations. Carl holds a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity and participated in Y Combinator's startup accelerator program.
