Jimmy Shen is a full-stack data engineer/analyst with over 15 years experience in numerous industries. He brings customer-first, resource conscientious and entrepreneurial mindsets to yield cost-effective and creative solutions for all engagements.

He has a wide range of experiences in the life-cycle of data products and services from his beginnings as a financial data analyst to a data engineer, he understands all the challenges and issues of data from start to finish. Finance, healthcare, forensics, supply-chain, online videos, data science and AI are just some of the types of data he has worked with.

Because he has worked in many roles and industries, he is able to extract different solutions from different fields and find the most cost effective and appropriate solution for his clients. For example, he was able to create a data warehouse in AWS and visualization in Power BI for an international retail marketing company on a shoestring budget in a matter of two weeks. He also has the experience of building data analytics/business intelligence departments from scratch while working for WWE and Visiting Nurses Association Health Group.

In his most recent engagements, he has helped data scientists and AI developers leverage data and create better and more robust products.
