Marit Gorter

Marit Gorter is an experienced beleidsmedewerker ruimtelijke ontwikkeling at Gemeente Dalfsen since May 2016, responsible for guiding spatial initiatives from conception to execution and advising on zoning plans and policies. Marit has also studied at the University of Groningen, achieving a Master's degree in Socio-spatial Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Social Geography and Planning. Prior to current responsibilities, Marit gained valuable experience as an afstudeerstudent at Brede Overleggroep Kleine Dorpen in Drenthe, focusing on the livability of small communities, and as a winkelmedewerker at Coop Supermarkten, where various customer service and operational tasks were handled. A brief internship at Gemeente Westerveld involved researching policy instruments for specific locations, contributing to Marit's comprehensive background in spatial planning and community development.
