Dian Derks

Dian Derks currently serves as Beleidsuitvoerder Sociaal Domein at Gemeente Deurne since July 2017 and previously held a role as Beleidsmedewerker at the same organization for a brief period in 2016. With experience in supporting the development of the 'ouderenbeleid Deurne' and participating in the 'Dementievriendelijk Deurne' working group, Dian has a strong background in social policy. In addition to municipal work, Dian is an accomplished athlete in canoeslalom with the Watersportverbond, participating at various levels from Team Talent Ontwikkeling to the National Senior Team, and competing in numerous national and international events, including World and European Championships. Dian's educational background includes studies at Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, among others, completed between 2005 and 2017.
