Elice Steijaert-Sterken has extensive experience in urban planning and mobility management, currently serving as Programmaleider and Strategisch beleidsmedewerker mobiliteit at Gemeente Gemert-Bakel since November 1999. Elice is responsible for advising the municipal council on mobility-related developments and managing various policies, including public lighting and traffic management. Elice has also held roles such as commissiegriffier for the Raadscommissie Ruimte & Mobiliteit, where support is provided to the committee chair, and has led programs focusing on waste management, public lighting, and nature conservation.
