Elice Steijaert-Sterken

Elice Steijaert-Sterken has extensive experience in urban planning and mobility management, currently serving as Programmaleider and Strategisch beleidsmedewerker mobiliteit at Gemeente Gemert-Bakel since November 1999. Elice is responsible for advising the municipal council on mobility-related developments and managing various policies, including public lighting and traffic management. Elice has also held roles such as commissiegriffier for the Raadscommissie Ruimte & Mobiliteit, where support is provided to the committee chair, and has led programs focusing on waste management, public lighting, and nature conservation. Prior to these roles, Elice worked in building and housing supervision at Gemeente Gemert and is an alumnus of Eindhoven University of Technology, holding a degree in construction engineering.
