Ron Loontjens

Ron Loontjens is a seasoned professional in traffic and mobility advising, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Gemeente Goeree-Overflakkee since June 2022, overseeing policies related to mobility planning and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. As the owner of VaRon since September 2014, Ron specializes in traffic consultancy, environmental management, and project leadership. Previous roles include interim positions with various municipalities, focusing on electric mobility and traffic management, including Gemeente Zwijndrecht and Gemeente Katwijk. Additionally, Ron held the position of CEO at Music Faktory from March 2016 to July 2022, overseeing music management projects in Asia and Europe. Ron's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Geography and Spatial Planning from NHL Hogeschool and a post HBO accelerated program in Traffic Engineering from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
