Bas van Terheijden

Bas van Terheijden is an experienced professional in urban planning and project management, currently serving as Teamcoördinator Ruimte at Gemeente Goes since March 2022. In this role, Bas provides functional leadership to spatial specialists across various fields including archaeology, sustainability, and urban development. Prior to this, Bas held multiple key positions including Programmamanager for refugee reception projects, Senior Project Leader for social and spatially relevant projects, and Zeeuws Project Leader for the asylum chain in Zeeland. Bas has an extensive background with Gemeente Kapelle, where responsibilities ranged from implementing the Omgevingswet to leading various departments and initiatives focused on socio-spatial development. Educational credentials include a master's degree in Juridical Administrative Sciences from Tilburg University and a bachelor's degree from HZ University of Applied Sciences.
