Veerle Scherders

Veerle Scherders has extensive experience in advisory roles related to youth support, education, and public health, currently serving as an Adviseur jeugdhulp and Adviseur onderwijs en jeugd at Gemeente Nijkerk since April 2011. Responsibilities include the integration of JOGG and buurtsportcoach schemes, as well as development and management of sports policies and facilities. Additional experience includes ownership of Veer-Krachtig, focusing on municipal policy and sports coordination, and project management for health and seniors in Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Past roles include positions in municipal governance and policy support in various municipalities, alongside a role in the board of GroenLinks Zwolle. Veerle Scherders holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in societal educational issues from Utrecht University.
