Nils Vissenberg

Lead Data Architect at Gemeente Rotterdam

Nils Vissenberg has a diverse range of work experience in the IT field. Nils started their career as an ICT-beheerder at Pentax Benelux BV in 2003, where they managed the user network and made adjustments to software and hardware. In 2006, they joined 360 Daadkracht Breda BV as an Allround ICT Specialist, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and implementing dynamic systems for various projects. Nils also had responsibilities in data management, system, application, and network administration. In 2014, they moved to Gemeente Breda and held multiple roles. As an Integratiespecialist, they worked on API management, REST, SOAP webservices, and implemented solutions for secure data exchange. Later, as an Architect Data & Integratie, they translated national developments, innovations, and legislation into guidelines and architectures for the municipality. Currently, Nils is working at Gemeente Rotterdam as a Lead Data Architect, where they are responsible for developing, configuring, and positioning the data architecture to enhance data value for residents and ensure data quality within the organization.

Nils Vissenberg obtained a HBO Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Avans University of Applied Sciences, which they completed between 2007 and 2012. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including TOGAF v9.2 Level 2, Agile Scrum non-IT, Business Information Management Foundation (BiSL), PRINCE2 Foundation, and ITIL v3 Foundation. Nils has also recently obtained certifications in Fully Communication Oriented Information Modeling and Certified Data Management Professional: Master Level, both in 2023.
