Burak Durmus

Burak Durmus is a seasoned professional in spatial development and environmental planning, currently serving as a Beleidsadviseur Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling at Gemeente Schiedam since June 2022. Prior roles include Adviseur Ruimtelijke Ordening en Milieu at Omgevingsdienst Midden-Holland, and Beleidsadviseur Ruimtelijke Ordening & Erfgoed at Gemeente Oude IJsselstreek, where responsibilities encompassed handling principle requests, managing spatial processes, and drafting spatial plans. Burak also contributed to the implementation of the Omgevingswet at OFGV, focusing on pilot projects and relationship management, and conducted research on urban development during earlier positions at Gemeente Enschede and as an intern at Sité Woondiensten.
