Erik Block

Erik Block is a seasoned professional in the field of architecture and spatial planning, currently serving as Zaakvoerder at Qi Architectuur & advies bv since January 2015. In addition to this role, Erik Block holds the position of Regeringscommissaris at Vlaams Architectuur Instituut VAi since June 2023 and has been providing consultancy on spatial planning and environment for several municipalities including Niel, Wommelgem, Aartselaar, and Schoten. With a long-standing career as an architect since 1988, Erik Block also holds the title of Gemeenteraadslid and Schepen for urban planning, environment, and sustainable development in Schoten, along with leading various committees related to spatial planning. Erik Block obtained a Master of Architecture from KU Leuven, Faculty of Architecture, Campus Sint-Lucas Gent, between 1983 and 1988.
