Gijs Den Braven

Gijs den Braven currently serves as Projectleider Gebiedsontwikkeling at Gemeente Vught since June 2025 and holds positions as Gemeenteraadslid and Fractievolger with GroenLinksaf Waalwijk since March 2022. Gijs has an extensive background in the field of history and GIS, having worked as GIS-coördinator and Historicus at AVG from April 2018 to May 2025. Previous roles include Magazijn Medewerker at Froster BV and various positions in education and historical research, including an internship with NOC*NSF focused on virtual museum research. Gijs holds a Master of Science in both History: Politics & Parliament and History and Current Affairs, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Radboud University.
