Principal Advisor - Education Technology at GEMS Education

Baz Nijjar is an accomplished education technology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the K-12 sector. Currently serving as Principal Advisor for Education Technology at GEMS Education, Baz oversees curriculum, teaching, and learning initiatives while leading the Digital Learning Innovation Network across 50 independent schools. Previously held significant positions at Ian Ramsey Church of England School and Durham County Council, where Baz contributed to curriculum development and provided advisory support for the computing curriculum. A strong advocate for industry partnerships and innovation in education, Baz has been a selected speaker at prestigious events such as BETT and GESS, and possesses a Master's degree in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies from Teesside University.
