Haidy Hanna

Haidy Hanna is an experienced educator specializing in French language instruction, currently serving as the Head of the French Department and GCSE Teacher at GEMS Education since August 2019. In addition, Haidy holds the position of Cambridge Oral Examiner at the British Council in Cairo, a role undertaken since January 2018. Previous roles include a Substitute French Teacher at Cairo American College and Head of the French Department at Egypt British International School from September 2009 to August 2019. Haidy's teaching career began at Nefertari International School and St. John American School, where French was taught at both middle and high school levels. Academic credentials include a Licentiate degree in French Language and Literature from Faculté des lettres, as well as various qualifications in French studies and teaching French as a Foreign Language from prestigious institutions. Recently, Haidy completed a program at the Centre culturel français in early 2023.
