Yasser Fayez Elgendy

Yasser Fayez Elgendy is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head of Arabic & Islamic Coaches at GEMS Education since September 2015. In this role, Yasser focuses on enhancing teaching and learning, designing curricula, and setting assessment standards across various schools. Responsibilities include evaluating school situations and implementing professional development tailored to specific needs, while monitoring the impact of these initiatives in classrooms. Prior to GEMS Education, Yasser held positions as Head of Arabic and Islamic at The Winchester School - Jebel Ali from September 2008 to March 2015 and as an Arabic teacher for Arabs and Non-Arabs at the same institution from September 2004 to June 2008. Yasser began a teaching career at MOE Egypt from November 1998 to July 2004. Yasser holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Cairo University.
