Aoife Sheahan

Aoife Sheahan is an experienced educator with a strong background in science instruction and leadership. Currently serving as an MYP Science Teacher and Grade Leader at GEMS World Academy in Dubai since August 2021, Aoife previously held positions as Head of Grade at Raffles World Academy from August 2017 to July 2021 and as a Senior Biology Teacher at Sabis Educational Services from August 2009 to August 2017. With degrees in International and Comparative Education (MEd) from the University of Sunderland and in Biological, Chemical, and Agricultural Sciences (B.Sc.Ed) from the University of Limerick, Aoife has demonstrated a commitment to student wellbeing and innovative teaching strategies, including the implementation of discovery-based learning and the organization of pastoral support initiatives.
