Serge Bourque is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering and operations management. Currently serving as President and CEO at GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited since May 1999, Serge Bourque has also held roles as Vice President of Operations for Ontario and Atlantic East, overseeing geotechnical investigations for various projects across Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada. Prior to this, Serge Bourque was Operations Manager and Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Houle Chevrier Engineering Ltd from January 2013 to April 2022. Serge Bourque earned a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick between 2000 and 2002.
