Michael Tesoro

Michael Tesoro is a Principal of Gen II Fund Services, LLC. Michael has over twenty (20) years of accounting, reporting, operations, and client service experience in the private equity industry. Michael has extensive knowledge of private equity, real estate, and infrastructure fund accounting, general partner and carried interest accounting, complex fund structures & waterfalls, legal structuring, offshore administration, Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds, NCREIF reporting, and regulatory compliance including AML/KYC, Form PF, and AIFMD.

Prior to joining Gen II, Michael was a Vice President at Credit Suisse Alternative Investments. While at Credit Suisse Michael primarily focused on managing the day-to-day fund accounting and reporting deliverables of various real estate private equity funds with aggregate capital commitments of over $4 billion. Michael also previously worked at Arthur Andersen LLP. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA. Michael received a BS in Accounting and a BS in Finance from Manhattan College and an MBA in Finance from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
