Melissa Clark is a Senior Lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design, teaching Fundamentals of Storytelling in the Animation Department since August 2023, and previously held the same role from 2007 to May 2018. Clark is also the host of The Writing Pool Podcast, which assists writers in completing their creative projects, and has been active in this role since April 2022. As a Creator/Writer/Producer for Audible, Inc., Clark has developed the children's podcast "Grandma For President," and co-created the kids' episodic podcast "Becoming Mother Nature" with Gen-Z Media. With over 25 years of writing experience, Clark provides coaching through The Writing Pool, supporting a diverse range of writing projects. Early in career, Clark created and produced the animated series "Braceface" and contributed scripts for "Rolie Polie Olie." Educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emerson College and a Master of Arts in English/Creative Writing from the University of California, Davis.
