Hari Shankar Ramakrishnan

Hari Shankar Ramakrishnan has a strong background in engineering and product management. Hari Shankar began their career as a Technical Project Lead at Wipro Technologies, where they led a team in analyzing product design and architecture for the acquisition of Entellium by Intuit Inc. and developed a Risk-Contingency-Mitigation plan for Intuit Inc.

Hari Shankar then joined Symantec Corporation as a Product Specialist, where they developed a core automation framework to certify Norton Security products on multiple operating systems and managed release management for all Norton product releases. Hari Shankar also played a key role in developing the Reputation Firewall feature.

At Symantec, Ramakrishnan became an Engineering Leader, managing a team that built modern Norton VPN mobile clients, increasing connectivity success by 80% and improving app store ratings. Hari Shankar also oversaw critical features for Norton Security products and collaborated with global scrum teams to monitor security events.

In their most recent role as Head of Engineering Telemetry and Insights at NortonLifeLock, Ramakrishnan leads global teams in providing business and engineering insights to grow Norton products. Hari Shankar manages a product and security telemetry infrastructure to support millions of customers and billions of events each day.

Hari Shankar Ramakrishnan attended Thiagarajar College of Engineering from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
