Previously, Teija held roles including Senior Director of Business Development, Innovation Manager, and R&D Manager at Genea Biomedx, focusing on business transition strategies, medical device innovation, and advancements in Assisted Reproductive Technologies. Prior to this, Teija managed stem cell facilities at the Australian Stem Cell Centre, established a human embryonic stem cell laboratory at Sydney IVF, and conducted significant research at various institutions, including cloning sheep at the South Australian Research and Development Institute. Teija holds multiple degrees in Biotechnology, with advanced training in project management and business administration.
