Aileen Lowe is a seasoned professional in the field of molecular genetics, currently serving as a Scientific Officer at Genea since March 2015, where expertise includes next-generation sequencing for chromosomal aneuploidy detection in prenatal samples and contributions to Australia's first onshore Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening program. Aileen previously held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate and Stem Cell Laboratory Manager at the University of Sydney, managing various laboratory techniques and supervising research students. Additional experience includes teaching biology at the University of New South Wales and roles at Sydney IVF, focusing on culture media development and embryology. Aileen possesses a PhD in Regenerative Neuroscience and a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics from UNSW, along with a strong academic background from Meriden School.
