Andrew Hayward

Andrew Hayward currently serves as a Scientific Account Manager at Genedata since June 2023. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from October 2020 to May 2023, focusing on integrating electrophysiology with functional magnetic resonance imaging to explore synaptic connectivity changes. Before that, Andrew held a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at The University of Manchester from September 2018 to March 2020, working on graphene-based materials for drug delivery and neural activity recording. Additional postdoctoral research was conducted at Aalborg Universitet from September 2017 to August 2018, where a novel method for modeling neuropathic pain was developed. Andrew's academic journey began at The University of Manchester, culminating in a PhD in Neurobiology and Behavior in 2017, following a BSc in Pharmacology earned there in 2013.
