Cristal Thompson

Cristal Thompson, Ph.D., currently serves as Principal Business Account Manager at Genedata since July 2019, following roles as Business Development Manager and Scientific Account Manager within the same company. Prior to this, Cristal was a Post-doctoral Fellow at Boston University, focusing on the Janus Kinase V617F mutation in a transgenic mouse model, which involved various advanced laboratory techniques and assays. Cristal completed a Ph.D. in Biology at the University of Notre Dame, where an interdisciplinary thesis on Mycobacterium tuberculosis was developed, leading to notable publications and mentorship roles. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Washington State University. Additional research experience spans multiple institutions, including the University of Chicago and Washington State University.
