Edgar D. is a Scientific Liaison Manager at Genedata since November 2022. Previously, from December 2015 to October 2022, Edgar worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, focusing on targeting lipid homeostasis to modify pathogenic gamma secretase activity for Alzheimer’s disease prevention. Edgar also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research from January 2014 to July 2015, studying the impact of ALS-causing TDP43 mutants on synaptic function in primary neurons under the guidance of Professor T. Dickson. Edgar holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Tasmania (2010-2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Exeter (2006-2009).
