Cristina Rios

Cristina Rios has extensive experience in the field of molecular genetics and biotechnology, currently serving as Product Launch Lead at GeneDx since April 2012, where responsibilities include supervising analysis workflows for genetic testing. Prior roles at GeneDx encompassed Analysis Manager for the Microarray department and Senior Molecular Genetics Analyst, focusing on the analysis of single gene copy number testing and whole genome assays. Previous experience includes a position as a Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where Cristina coordinated the comet assay technique for evaluating genotoxic effects of nanoparticles, and as Forensics Laboratory Supervisor at Instituto de Ciencia y Medicina Genomica. Cristina holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila.
