Leah Williams

Leah Williams is an experienced professional in the field of genetic counseling, currently serving as the Director of Workforce Development & Support at GeneDx since August 2009. Previous roles at GeneDx include Assistant Director and Assistant Manager of Genetic Counseling Services, as well as Genetic Counselor. Prior to GeneDx, Leah held the position of Genetic Counselor at Genetic Consultants of Maryland and worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, contributing to a project with the National Coordinating and Evaluation Center of the Newborn Screening Initiative for Sickle Cell Disease. Leah earned a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
