Richard Lusk

Richard Lusk is a seasoned professional in the healthcare and analytics sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Growth Finance and Senior Vice President of Growth Insight and Monetization Strategy at GeneDx since September 2023. Previously, Richard held multiple leadership roles at Invitae, overseeing financial planning and analytics from December 2021 to September 2023. Prior to that, Richard was the Sr. Director of Analytics & Insights at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where key contributions included leading analytics for healthcare programs and establishing a Program Evaluation team. Earlier experience includes roles as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, focusing on healthcare strategy and implementation, as well as academic positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan and a Graduate Student Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, where Richard developed advanced analytics tools for genomic data analysis. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Molecular & Cell Biology with a focus on Computational & Genomic Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Biology from the University of Chicago.
