Qing Zhang is an accomplished Principal Scientist specializing in computational biology at PromptBio since July 2021. With extensive experience in bioinformatics, Qing previously served as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Bioinformatics Scientist at Caris Life Sciences from October 2015 to July 2021, and as a Postdoctoral researcher at UCLA from October 2012 to October 2015. Prior roles include Research Associate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where Qing developed a mixture model to predict branch points relevant to mRNA splicing and human diseases. Qing holds a Ph.D. in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Master's Degree in Molecular Genetics from Shanghai University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Fudan University.
