Andrew Benbow

Andrew Benbow's work experience begins in 2004 at Bell Pottinger Corporate & Financial, where they worked as an Account Director. Andrew worked with various national and international clients, including 888.com, Heritage Oil, and Imperial Tobacco. Andrew also assisted in establishing communications for the Qatar Financial Centre and collaborated with Professor Muhammed Yunus, the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Winner.

In 2009, Benbow joined M: Communications as a Consultant, where their clients included ENRC, Genel Energy, and Melrose PLC.

Benbow then moved on to GENEL ENERGY PLC in 2013, initially as the Head of Public Relations before assuming the role of Head of Communications in 2018. In this position, they are responsible for media and investor relations, financial and ESG communications, stakeholder messaging, and corporate materials development. Additionally, Benbow is a member of the Strategy Council, focusing on growth and ESG strategies.

Andrew Benbow attended the University of Nottingham from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a MA degree in Philosophy. In addition, they earned a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute in November 2022.
