Stefan Festerling

Stefan Festerling is a seasoned petroleum engineer with extensive experience in various roles across the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Petroleum and Operation Engineer at Genel Energy PLC since May 2022, Stefan also provides consultancy as a Senior Petroleum Engineer with High Class Consulting since 2016. Previous positions include Senior Petroleum Engineer at Groupement Berkine, Senior Petroleum Engineering Advisor at Rumaila Operating Organisation, and Senior Petroleum Engineer at Maersk Oil, among others. Stefan's expertise spans field development plans, production technology, artificial lift recommendations, and optimization of drilling and workover activities. Stefan holds a Diplom in Petroleum Engineering from Technische Universität Clausthal, earned between 1984 and 1993.
