Principal Technical Development Scientist at Genentech

Adriana Gonzalez is a seasoned scientist currently serving as a Principal Technical Development Scientist at Genentech since January 2024. Prior to this role, Adriana held the position of Scientist II at Encoded Therapeutics Inc., where responsibilities included designing and analyzing MPRA for DNA regulatory elements and characterizing bio-distribution of AAV transgenes in brain cells. Adriana's academic foundation includes a postdoctoral research position at Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on viral genome epigenetic states and rAAV creation, as well as a research background at the Institute of Cell Biology, University of Bern, where chromatin organization was studied.
