Amanda Jensen

Amanda Jensen is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and companion diagnostics development, currently serving as the Principal Companion Diagnostics Development Leader at Genentech since October 2023. Prior experience includes directing regulatory affairs at Tempus Labs, Inc., where leadership in global regulatory strategy facilitated accelerated patient access to biomarkers and diagnostic tests. At Amgen, Jensen managed the diagnostic regulatory portfolio and was the regulatory lead for the first-in-class therapy sotorasib, achieving simultaneous FDA approval for companion diagnostics. Previous roles also include a Validation Scientist position at EntroGen, Inc., where execution of validation studies for companion diagnostics took place, and a Postdoctoral Researcher role at UCLA, focusing on cell models for neurological disorders. Jensen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Physiology from UC San Diego and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California.
