Bahareh Barzegar

Bahareh Barzegar is an experienced regulatory professional currently serving as Associate Regulatory Program Director at Genentech since October 2022. Prior to this role, Bahareh worked as the Global Head of MSAT (MMS) at Thermo Fisher Scientific from July 2021 to October 2022 and held various positions at Genentech from November 2013 to July 2021, including Global MSAT Senior Engineer, Global MSAT Engineer II, and Engineer I. Earlier in the career, Bahareh was a Manufacturing Engineer I at Vical and completed an REU internship at the University of Minnesota in 2010, focusing on polymer latex coatings. Bahareh holds a Master's degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
