Haiming Zhang

Haiming Zhang is a distinguished scientist and Director of Small Molecule Process Chemistry at Genentech, where they have been since 2022. Prior to this role, Haiming held various positions at Genentech, including Senior Principal Scientist and Director. They began their career as a Research Scientist at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2010. Haiming earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University and completed postdoctoral work at Caltech. They also hold a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry and Chemical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
