Lewis Gazzard

Lewis Gazzard is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as Principal Scientist in Discovery Chemistry at Genentech Inc since March 1999, Lewis has contributed significantly to the field. Prior to this role, Lewis was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin from December 1995 to December 1998. Academically, Lewis earned a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from University College London and Imperial College London, where a B.Sc. in Chemistry was also obtained.
