Nima Sammaknejad

Nima Sammaknejad, Ph.D., currently serves as a Data Science Tech Lead at Genentech, where responsibilities include leading technical efforts in developing a robust machine learning platform for end-to-end process health monitoring and a cloud-based real-time data pipeline for biopharma product release. With extensive experience in data science across multiple organizations, Nima has successfully developed and deployed multivariate machine learning models, managed cross-functional teams, and contributed to significant digital transformation initiatives. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist at Bayer, focusing on classification and root cause analysis, as well as experience in predictive modeling and statistical analysis from previous positions at Corning Incorporated and Syncrude Canada Ltd. Nima holds a Ph.D. in Systems and Control Engineering from the University of Alberta, with a solid foundation in machine learning, time-series analysis, and process optimization.
