Quita Beeler Highsmigh

Quita Beeler Highsmith is the Chief Diversity Officer at Genentech, responsible for D&I strategy across the organization. Quita stepped into this role in January 2020; prior to this, she served as the head of Alliance & Advocacy Relations in Government Affairs and co-creator of Advancing Inclusive ResearchTM at Genentech. Before this, Quita was the commercial lead for the Tamiflu® franchise at Genentech, responsible for strategy, financial targets, business development, product supply, partnering with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ensuring Tamiflu® accessibility for 4 million to 8 million Americans annually. Quita received her Master of Business Administration from the Johnson School at Cornell University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.
