Rolando Vega

Rolando Vega, CPP, serves as the Global CDMO Site Management Devices & Packaging Executive Director at Genentech since July 2022. Prior to this role, Vega was the Global Packaging Quality Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific and held the position of Senior Director of Packaging Technology and Engineering at Kymanox, where responsibilities included leading packaging initiatives in combination product development. Vega has extensive experience in packaging engineering and project management within the pharmaceutical industry, having worked with prominent companies such as Janssen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Pfizer. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School, an MBA in Finance from Saint Peter's University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico. Additional training includes a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from the US Army.
