Yulai Zhao

Yulai Zhao is currently a Research Intern at Genentech since May 2024 and a Research Assistant at Princeton University since August 2022, focusing on theories and applications of machine learning. Previous research experience includes an internship at ETH Zürich, studying first-order mathematical optimization and performative prediction in June to September 2021, and a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington from May 2020 to June 2021, where Yulai studied theoretical reinforcement learning in multi-agent environments and statistical representation learning. Yulai Zhao is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering at Princeton University, expected to graduate in June 2027, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University, completed in June 2022.
