Brandon Schmidt

Brandon Schmidt is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Generac since July 2014, Brandon has progressed through various roles including Engineering Manager and Engineering Supervisor. Prior to this, Brandon was the Mobile Lighting Product Engineering Lead at Generac Mobile Products, where successful launches of two new product lines were achieved. Brandon's earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Engineer at Oshkosh Corporation, focusing on powertrain integration for military vehicles, and a position as a Design/Cost Engineer at Caterpillar, emphasizing design for manufacturing and cost reduction. Brandon holds a Bachelor's degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
