Jeff Pontius

Jeff Pontius currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Development for the Industrial business unit at Generac Power Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of energy technology solutions. Since joining in October 2022, responsibilities include overseeing corporate development activities and driving strategic programs for energy transformation. Prior to Generac, Jeff held the position of CFO at Blue Pillar, a provider of Industrial IoT solutions, from December 2014 until its acquisition by Generac. Jeff has also served as Vice President of Development at KDC Solar, where responsibilities encompassed business development and partnership management, and as Executive Vice President of Business Development at Solar Power, Inc., focusing on worldwide business development and project finance. Earlier in the career, Jeff worked at Flextronics as Director of Finance, managing a large finance team across multiple countries, and held various finance-related roles at Intel Corporation, ultimately serving as China Controller. Jeff holds an MBA from Penn State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Finance from Salisbury University.
