Lydia Kolinski

Lydia Kolinski is a skilled Mechanical Designer currently working at Generac as a Mechanical Designer II within the NPI Commercial and Industrial Engineering Team, focusing on creating top-level assemblies, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal parts for industrial and commercial generator lines. Lydia has previously held the position of Mechanical Designer I at the same company, contributing to structural designs using FEA and CFD analysis. Additionally, Lydia's diverse experience includes working as a Graphic Designer and Barista at Sip & Purr Cat Cafe, and serving as a Freelance Product Designer for MIAD's Innovation Center, where Lydia designed the "Photoverse Selfie Museum." Lydia also has a background in assisting with animation techniques as a Teaching Assistant at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and providing A/V support as a Lab Tech Assistant. Lydia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and L'École de design Nantes Atlantique.
