Marcus Gavin

Marcus Gavin is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in validation, quality assurance, and project management across the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Generac since May 2024, previous roles include Sr. Manager of DVT Validation & QA at Enphase Energy, where Marcus established a validation team for portable energy products, and Senior Manager Validation and QA at SunPower Corporation, overseeing QA teams and developing manufacturing test specifications. Marcus gained foundational experience at National Instruments, contributing innovative test solutions for various embedded controller products, and held positions that showcased expertise in system design and customer engagement at companies such as Motorola and Soliton Technologies. Marcus holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a second major in Spanish from Rice University.
