Jordan Avery has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting with their role as a Student at Western Michigan University from 2005 to 2009, they gained a foundation in their field. In 2008, they interned as a KBE Intern at Johnson Controls Automotive.
Moving on, Jordan worked as an Engineering Intern at the Kalamazoo County Road Commission from May 2009 to December 2009. This internship provided them with practical experience in the engineering field.
From there, Jordan joined Sturgis Molded Products and held various roles. They started as a Product Design Engineer in January 2010, working on product development. They then progressed to positions as a Product/Tooling Engineer from 2012 to 2016 and later as a Product/Tooling Engineering Supervisor from 2016 to 2017. In these roles, Jordan was responsible for product development, new tool quoting, tool design, and managing R&D projects.
Subsequently, Jordan took on the role of Tooling Manager - Toolroom & Development at Sturgis Molded Products in January 2017. In this position, they oversaw all new tooling and product development, as well as maintenance and repair of injection molds for multiple press sizes.
Finally, Jordan advanced to the role of Director of Engineering and Tooling at Sturgis Molded Products in October 2020. In this capacity, they are currently responsible for overall engineering and tooling operations within the company. The end date for this role is not yet specified.
Throughout their career, Jordan has demonstrated a strong technical aptitude, managerial skills, and a focus on delivering quality products and services.
